Most of our mechanics have been working in the  auto repair industry for 20 + years gaining invaluable experience, knowledge and "tricks of the trade". According to a report from "Research and Markets" in 2020, the global automotive repair and maintenance was a $693.5 billion industry in 2019 and projected to reach $828.6 billion by 2023. Yes, you read that right; billion with a "B"! Shouldn't be much of a surprise though taking into consideration the incredibly high prices and markups that auto repair shops and dealers across the U.S. alone charge to complete even the simplest of repairs. Surveys have shown that 72% of auto DIYers conduct regular maintenance and basic repairs on their vehicles with 44% of those DIYers taking on more complex and complicated repairs. The reasons vary but most commonly the reason for this is to save money.  In fact, U.S. expenditures on automotive parts and accessories currently account for $50.6 billion in sales as of 2021 with a growth rate of 3.7% year to year.
